Inside, we visited the history of singapore exhibition. There, we saw many things about our country's history. There was also a 'Digital Tour Guide' given to us which guided us trough the whole exhibition. What Firas liked most was the cool Japanese poster about their invasion of Singapore and world war II as it shows how the army in the old days were like. There were many bicycles attached to the wall at one part of the exhibition. We did not understand at first why the artist put many bicyles but in the end we understood, with the help of the Tour Guide, that it portrays the way the japanese entered Singapore with bicycles.

We had weird little green things called "companions". Techonology IS growing fast.
[The following is copied from their site]

The Companion is a multimedia handheld device specially designed to guide you around the Singapore History Gallery. Each Companion comprise of an LCD display, a pair of earphones and a keypad which enables you to enjoy audio, visual and textual content which complement the National Museum's physical collection of artefacts. You can read descriptions, listen to expert opinions and dramatised scenarios, as well as watch videos related to these artefacts by simply punching in the zone code you are in (located on the floor), followed by the numbers next to the artefacts. This element of interactivity allows you to decide how you want to explore the Gallery and which stories you want to hear. The Companion is available in English, Mandarin, Malay and Japanese.

Journey to the National Musuem of Singapore

The walk was quite short and took us only about 10 mins.
When we were crossing the road, the traffic light (for human crossing) suddenly turned red and there was a police car getting ready to turn right.
